Get out of the car and grab a Bike, Boat, canoe or Walk....here are some suggestions in Muskoka by Bike.

Lake of Bays Cycling Route

This massive route starts and ends in Dwight, Lake of Bays. A 73 km trail takes you around one of Muskoka’s famous lakes, where it passes through Dorset, Baysville, and Dwight. There are 3 different climb points on this route, making the full route quite a workout, but the lookout point off Dorset Scenic Tower Road makes the hills worth it! Check out the trail map for more information for a full map of the route and different stops along the way.

The Georgian Trail:

Enjoy the views of beautiful Georgian Bay this spring with a waterfront bicycle excursion that spans the shores. With plenty of opportunities to stop, rest, and swim along the shores, this scenic route is a great way to ride from Collingwood to Meaford. This trail runs near Highway 26 West, with numerous access points along the way. This route is safe and accessible, and the perfect outing for the entire family! Check out the Strava routeso you can track your ride on the Strava app!

Prince Edward County Millennium Trail

The Millennium Trail is a key off-road connection that winds through the County to Picton with many natural landscapes and scenic points to enjoy along the way. This 49 kilometre route is predominantly rural, though it passes through several urban areas that connect to different residential neighbourhoods. It is a multipurpose trail, so whether you feel like biking or running, this is the perfect stretch to do both. Keep your eye out for the wildlife that you may stumble upon this Spring!

Rice Lake Ramble Route

Highly recommended by the Toronto Bicycling Network, this Cobourg route has spectacular views of Rice Lake. This 74 km route is quite a long ride but takes you along the new Greenbelt Route cycling trail as well as some wonderfully quiet roads. It is a fantastic excursion to take a moment and enjoy the serene landscapes that Northumberland County has to offer. Don’t forget to fill up your water bottle with fresh spring water from the Harwood artesian well located at Memorial Park. This route takes you through several different towns, so make sure you take a look at the map before you ride!
