The weather is warming up and the flowers are slowly blooming, which makes springtime the perfect time to take a scenic bike ride. Grab your helmet and prepare for a beautiful ride through our areas of service! Here are some of our favourite places to ride.

Lake of Bays Cycling Route
This massive route starts and ends in Dwight, Lake of Bays. A 73 km trail takes you around one of Muskoka’s famous lakes, where it passes through Dorset, Baysville, and Dwight. There are 3 different climb points on this route, making the full route quite a workout, but the lookout point off Dorset Scenic Tower Road makes the hills worth it! The Georgian Trail:
Enjoy the views of beautiful Georgian Bay this spring with a waterfront bicycle excursion that spans the shores. With plenty of opportunities to stop, rest, and swim along the shores, this scenic route is a great way to ride from Collingwood to Meaford. This trail runs near Highway 26 West, with numerous access points along the way. This route is safe and accessible, and the perfect outing for the entire family! Prince Edward County Millennium Trail
The Millennium Trail is a key off-road connection that winds through the County to Picton with many natural landscapes and scenic points to enjoy along the way. This 49 kilometre route is predominantly rural, though it passes through several urban areas that connect to different residential neighbourhoods. It is a multipurpose trail, so whether you feel like biking or running, this is the perfect stretch to do both. Keep your eye out for the wildlife that you may stumble upon this Spring!
Rice Lake Ramble Route
Highly recommended by the Toronto Bicycling Network, this Cobourg route has spectacular views of Rice Lake. This 74 km route is quite a long ride but takes you along the new Greenbelt Route cycling trail as well as some wonderfully quiet roads. It is a fantastic excursion to take a moment and enjoy the serene landscapes that Northumberland County has to offer. Don’t forget to fill up your water bottle with fresh spring water from the Harwood artesian well located at Memorial Park. This route takes you through several different towns, so make sure you take a look at the map before you ride!
