Baysville
Township of Lake of Bays is little piece of paradise. Situated about 2 1/2 hours north of Toronto, a little North of Bracebridge and just East of Huntsville. Made up of 4 separate communities, Hillside, Dwight, Dorset and Baysville. The villages have a combination of general stores, coffee spots, restaurants, shops and access to the actual Lake of Bays. We are also home to a number of thriving small industries.
The Township is a year-round vacation paradise with a large number of lakes, both big and small with public access points and a number of public beaches. The lakes encourage all forms of boating, sailing, tubing and swimming and are also located close to 3 Provincial Parks (Arrowhead, Ragged Falls and, Algonquin Park, the best known Park in Ontario). Residents and visitors can make use of the extensive network of trails, activities and facilities.
