Big Doe Lake

There are a few Doe lake's in Muskoka but this Doe lake is loacted 20 minutes north of Huntville near the quaint town of Novar.

Doe lake is also knows as Little doe, middle Doe and Big Doe lake. It is the largest lake in the area of Almaguin Highlands.
I have boated on it a few times and it is great for swimming, fishing, boating and any of your favourite water sports.
It is 34.3km in perimeter according to the Muskoka Water web, 22.9 feet deep and has 1% Crown land.

There is a public boat launnch near Almaguin Drive and the water level is controlled by the MNR so water levels will go up and down seasonally.

There is a Marina on the lake in Katrine.
The Girl Guides of Canada have their camp on this lake - think of those chocolate and vanilla cookies;).
