Top Farmers’ markets in Muskoka

If you’re looking for a way to connect with your community in Cottage Country (and you happen to enjoy supporting local businesses), one great way to do that is to stop by your local Farmers’ Market. Their recent surge in popularity means that you can definitely find a Farmers’ Market within driving distance. Whenever you visit the area, make sure to take a peek. You can stock up on fresh local produce, taste some unique and delectable baked goods, decorate your cottage with handmade art, crafts or even clothing, and so much more.

NOTE: Many of the markets only run during the summer months (see the dates below), but there's still time to find your favourite before the Fall hits.

Bala Farmers’ Market

Located in Bala Falls, this market boasts everything from “Fresh produce, to unique hand crafted collectables.” The market is open every Monday until Labor Day from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Boat docking and car parking are available

Baysville Farmers’ Market

Celebrating 15 years this season, the Baysvile Farmers’ Market is located near the Baysville Arena parking lot. You can visit every Friday until Labor Day from 2:00pm to 6:00pm

This market is very happening and it has over 12 vendors selling organic produce, fresh meats, Thai food, fruits and vegetables, honey, preserves, arts, and crafts.

Bracebridge Farmers’ Market

Located at Memorial park in Bracebridge, this market is open each Saturday, 8:30am to 1:00pm, and runs until Thanksgiving weekend.

There are many vendors and you can have a great selection of fresh fruits and veggies, hand-crafted jewelry, organic teas, natural lotions, flowers, honey, cured meats and much more!

Dwight Farmers’ Market

Located beside the Dwight Post office and running every Tuesday 10:00am to 2:00pm until Labor Day, The Dwight Farmers’ Market has the collection of farmers, artists, and small business owners who make this market inspiring and unique.

Gravenhurst Farmers’ Market

Located across the road from Boston Pizza at the Special Events Field of Muskoka Wharf, The market operates every Wednesday, 9:00am to 2:00pm up to Thanksgiving

This market was established in 1992 in the heart of scenic cottage country, and is celebrating 25 Years this season. It has become one of the most popular attractions in Muskoka, and you can even hop aboard the famous RMS Segwun cruise ship and tour the famous Muskoka lakes.

Huntsville 100k Farmers' Market

You can visit this farmers' market every Saturday from 9:00am to 2:00pm until mid-September.

Established by a group of local farmers after the closing of the Huntsville River Mill Farmers' Market, the 100k Market in Huntsville is a testament to the value of these markets for everyone in the community.

Port Carling Farmers’ market

You can visit this market every Thursday until late august 9:00am to 2:00pm, located near Hanna Park on the Indian River.

You can find incredible options off locally grown produce, delicious foods and hand-crafted artistry or you can even visit Hanna Park which has an amazing beach and playground.

Rosseau Market

Rosseau is located west of Huntsville and runs every Friday from 9:00am to 2:00pm until September 2.

The Lake Rosseau waterfront park offers docking, a shady gazebo, picnic tables and benches, playground and a beach where you can spend the best time with your friends and family. After visiting the market, take a walk through Rosseau – you won’t be disappointed.
